Great Alaskan Leaders

Our Leaders are members, too! In addition to coordinating Great Alaskan Pony Club, our club leaders participate in the following activities locally, regionally, and nationally, including:

  • Club lessons and riding clinics;
  • Horse management educational meetings;
  • Rallies (Pony Club horse shows) and USPC Championships and Festival;
  • Skills level testing, including Upper Level National Tests;
  • USPC Educational Symposium;
  • Community and Pony Club volunteerism at the local, regional and national level;
  • Land conservation projects;
  • Other riding, education and equine professional training/certification enrichment.

We are likely away caring for our horses and ponies or riding, so this may delay our response to you.

USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 41 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Great Alaskan Pony Club is part of the Alaska Region. Visit the region's website for the contact information for the Regional Officers.
